Orange Cream Dessert (No-Bake)

 

Ingredients:

 

2 large oranges (juice and zest)

2 eggs

3 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp butter

100 ml milk (or cream for richer texture)

Instructions:

 

Prepare the oranges:

Zest the oranges finely and squeeze out the juice (about 150 ml).

Mix the base:

In a saucepan, whisk together the eggs, sugar, cornstarch, and milk until smooth.

Add orange flavor:

Pour in the orange juice and zest, whisking well.

Cook the cream:

Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook while stirring constantly until the mixture thickens (about 5–7 minutes).

Finish:

Remove from heat and stir in the butter until fully melted and smooth.

Cool and serve:

Pour the cream into small jars or bowls. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
